White Pearl
White Pearl is a premium quartzite quarried from a bedrock quarry in Brazil. This natural stone resembles marble in its soft veining and refined tone but offers the superior durability and hardness of quartzite.
It features a creamy white background accented with subtle grey and taupe veining. Depending on the structure of the quarry, some slabs display more linear veining, while others show beautiful sweeping movement, making each piece unique.
During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to the surface to fill natural pits and fissures. Some minute pits may reopen over time — a natural characteristic that does not affect the stone’s strength, beauty, or maintenance. The slabs are book-matched, meaning slab one and slab two are cut and polished to create a mirrored pattern flow. A mesh backing is added to ensure stability and safety during fabrication.
White Pearl is available in Polished finish, stocked in 2cm and 3cm thicknesses, with typical slab dimensions of 121" × 77".
(Note: Natural stone sizes may vary.)
To ensure lasting performance, sealing is highly recommended. Arizona Tile suggests:
-
3 coats of Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus or Dry Treat Premium Impregnating Sealer during installation.
-
1 coat every 6 months for ongoing protection.
-
Always seal all cut edges before installation to prevent moisture or oil absorption.
