New Romano

New Romano is a natural granite quarried from a bedrock quarry in Brazil. This stone features a soft, neutral light grey background complemented by darker grey veining and subtle mineral variations, including mica, feldspar, and quartz. Its organic patterning creates a calm yet visually interesting surface that works beautifully across a wide range of design styles—from contemporary to traditional.

As a natural stone, New Romano is valued for its durability, longevity, and heat resistance, making it ideal for high-use applications such as kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, fireplaces, and shower walls. Because of the stone’s geological structure, slabs are book-matched—meaning slab one and slab two are cut and polished to form a mirror image of each other. These are then kept in sequence to allow for a consistent, flowing appearance during installation.

Proper sealing is recommended to protect the surface and extend the stone’s lifespan. Its natural hardness and polished finish enhance both performance and appearance, resulting in a surface that is practical, elegant, and long-lasting.
