Mont Blanc Satin
Mont Blanc Satin is a luxurious quartzite quarried from bedrock in Brazil, known for its creamy white background and soft grey veining. This variation features a satin finish, giving the surface a gentle, low-sheen texture that highlights the stone’s organic character and modern appeal.
The satin finish provides a more natural, tactile feel while maintaining the same durability and resistance to scratching and etching as polished quartzite. Each slab is book-matched, cut, and finished to produce a seamless mirrored pattern, with a mesh backing applied for structural support during fabrication.
During processing, an epoxy resin is used to fill natural pits and fissures. Some very fine pits may reopen over time, which is a natural characteristic of quartzite and does not affect performance.
Mont Blanc Satin is stocked in 2cm and 3cm thicknesses, with typical slab dimensions of 130" x 78".
(Note: Natural stone sizes may vary.)
This stone belongs to Level 7 of the Home Vision Studio Countertop Program and is suitable for commercial and residential applications, including countertops, walls, and fireplaces.
To protect the stone and maintain its natural finish, sealing is recommended:
-
3 coats of Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus or Dry Treat Premium Impregnating Sealer at installation.
-
1 coat every 6 months thereafter.
-
Seal all cut edges prior to installation to prevent moisture or oil penetration.
