Mont Blanc is a luxurious quartzite quarried from bedrock in Brazil, admired for its sophisticated marble-like appearance and exceptional strength. The stone showcases a creamy white base with soft grey and taupe veining, delivering both beauty and performance in residential or commercial designs.
Unlike marble, Mont Blanc quartzite is highly resistant to scratches and etching, making it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and feature walls.
Each slab is book-matched, cut, and polished to create a continuous mirrored pattern, while a mesh backing reinforces the stone during fabrication.
During finishing, an epoxy resin is applied to fill any natural pits or fissures. Some fine pits may reopen over time, but these do not affect the stone’s structure or appearance.
This quartzite is offered in a Polished finish and stocked in 2cm and 3cm thicknesses.
Typical slab dimensions average 130" x 78", though natural stone sizes may vary.
To maintain its beauty, sealing is recommended:
-
3 coats of Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus or Dry Treat Premium Impregnating Sealer at installation.
-
1 coat every 6 months thereafter.
-
Seal all cut edges before installation to prevent moisture or oil absorption.
