Fantasy Black

Fantasy Black is sourced from India and is known for its rich black background enhanced by sweeping white veining and occasional hints of gold. This visually captivating stone is a metamorphic material formed from limestone undergoing intense heat and pressure over time, resulting in a durable and resilient surface.

During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to the surface of the stone to fill any natural pits, fissures, or micro-cracks. Some pits may reopen during finishing; however, this is normal and does not affect the stone’s structural integrity, performance, or beauty.

Due to the natural characteristics of the material, Fantasy Black slabs are book-matched—slab one and slab two mirror each other and are kept in sequence to preserve a consistent flow in veining and pattern. A mesh backing is added to the slab to support safe handling and fabrication.

As with all natural stone products, sealing is recommended to enhance longevity and protect the stone from moisture and staining.
