Fantasy Black is sourced from India and is classified as a metamorphic stone formed from limestone through heat and pressure. This striking material features a deep black background with bold white veining and occasional hints of gold, giving the slab dramatic movement and a rich visual depth.

Known for its hardness, Fantasy Black is commonly used for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, fireplace surrounds, and statement interior features. During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to fill any natural fissures, pits, or hairline spaces — a normal and expected characteristic of natural stone. Some extremely fine micro-pits may remain after finishing, but they do not impact durability or performance.

Slabs are book-matched, meaning slab A and slab B mirror each other and are kept sequentially for optimal flow in pattern-heavy installations. A mesh backing is also applied to support the stone during fabrication and transport.

As with all natural stone, sealing is recommended to help protect the surface and extend its lifespan.
