Blizzard

Blizzard is quarried from a bedrock quarry in India and is known for its dramatic contrast of deep black stone highlighted by sweeping white veining. Its appearance resembles high-end marbles like Negro Marquina from Spain, yet Blizzard provides the superior strength and low-maintenance advantages of granite — making it ideal for heavily used spaces such as kitchen countertops.

Veining and pattern movement in Blizzard can vary significantly, even within the same block, making it essential to view and approve material in person prior to fabrication. Slabs are typically large, offering excellent layout flexibility for continuous veining or book-matched installations.

During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to the surface to fill natural pits, fissures, or micro-cracks that may occur in the stone. These tiny natural characteristics do not impact durability or beauty; however, some may reappear after additional finishing or fabrication steps.

Blizzard slabs are book-matched, meaning slab one and slab two mirror each other and are kept in sequence to allow a consistent flow in pattern when installed together.

As with all natural stone, sealing is recommended to protect the surface and extend longevity.
