Barcelona

Barcelona is quarried from a bedrock quarry in Vigo, Spain. This granite is cut from large, consistent blocks that make it an excellent option for large projects requiring a dependable and uniform appearance. The material features a coarse-grain structure composed of beige, grey, and black crystals, creating a speckled pattern that remains visually consistent from shipment to shipment.

As with most granites, natural mineral spots will occur; in the case of Barcelona, small black spots ranging from dime-size to quarter-size may be present throughout the slab. These characteristics are inherent to natural stone and add to its organic appearance.

Because Barcelona is a natural stone, sealing is recommended to help protect the surface and extend long-term durability. It performs well in a variety of interior and exterior applications and is valued for its strength and low maintenance needs.
