Azzurra Bay

Azzurra Bay is a polished quartzite quarried from a bedrock quarry in Brazil. Its background features a cool white tone with hints of blue undertones, beautifully accented by thin veining that transitions from light brown and taupe to soft grey. This combination produces an elegant yet understated aesthetic that brings calm and refinement to any space.

During the finishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to fill natural pits, cracks, and fissures that may occur within the stone. These tiny natural variations are characteristic of authentic quartzite and do not affect its durability or performance. Each slab is book-matched, allowing two consecutive slabs to mirror one another for a seamless and consistent veining flow.

A mesh backing is added to ensure safety and stability during fabrication and installation.

Azzurra Bay is available in Polished finish, stocked in 2cm and 3cm thicknesses, with a typical slab size of 130” × 79” (Natural stone sizes may vary).

As with all natural quartzite, it is recommended to seal the surface properly to extend longevity and protect against moisture and staining:

• Use Miracle Sealants 511 Porous Plus or Dry Treat Premium Impregnating Sealer.

• Apply 3 coats at installation and reapply 1 coat every 6 months.

• Seal all exposed edges before installation to prevent water and oil penetration.
